So, I'm deploying (for 120 days) to Southwest Asia in a little over 2 weeks. I'm not scared (yet). The military used to just pack up and go, but with modern super high-tech warfare, getting up and going is alot more difficult. Tonnes of paperwork and computer-based classes that I've already taken, but they may expire before I return home. Trips to the alterations place to get my uniforms embroidered, back and forth to the hospital to get different letters signed and stamped. I hate this kind of stuff, but at least it gets me out of work. I like my job, and I like working hard, but it's tough to worry about the job and keeping appointments, so it's a welcome respite.
I got a strict soldier-a$$ haircut today, not something I usually do, but I thing it'll help me mentally prepare.
I need to buy alot of stuff.
see ya soon.
